Wappb file

Key concepts

The "Wappb" file is the base of your Waoo App Builder project. It is always saved in the root of the project along with the folder with your generated code and is created as soon as you create a new project in Waoo App Builder.

This file is constantly modified by Waoo App Builder. Every time you add a node, make a change to a value, or, in general terms, make a change to your project, this file is completely regenerated.

The file contains all the key information of your project so we recommend saving it in a repository or making constant backups of it.

Remember that Waoo App Builder is not yet stable so it is possible that there are bugs that can corrupt your wappb file. This is why it is recommended to make constant backups and in case of any failure you can restore it from one of these.

When a Wappb file is compiled with a particular version of Waoo App Builder, it cannot be opened by earlier versions of the program. If you work with more people on the same project, make sure to coordinate the working versions among all of them.

Since your entire project is in your Wappb file, if this file is obtained by any outsider, they will be able to regenerate your entire project with Waoo App Builder.

Consider your Wappb file as a confidential and sensitive file as would be your source code for any other application or system.
